About Minehead 

Care Provision: Learning Disabilities 

 

18 Minehead Road  is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide accommodation and support for up to six people, aged 18 and upwards, with learning disabilities.

 

The Home is spread across three storeys and includes a utility room, two lounges and a conservatory leading out to a small garden.

 

We aim to provide valued social roles for our residents,​with a  focus on what they can do rather than what they cannot do and where appropriate, we support our residents to enrol in local colleges of education and to pursue voluntary work if that is their choice.

 

We recognise that movement along this progressive pathway is only possible when we engage friends, family and all personnel involved in the care of our residents, to join us in ensuring a strong circle of support,
