"When I first moved into BSG after having spent nearly a year in hospital, I was pretty shaky and nervous. My mobility was not too clever and I didn’t have much confidence.

 

The help and care I received here was just what I needed. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The facilities meet my needs. The food is great. When there are unavoidable problems the Maintenance Team try and get things up and running as soon as possible.

 

Now I have been here over a year I find that even though I need much less help with things, I know that staff or - as we residents like to say, our friends - are there to provide help should I ever need it. At the same time, I have managed to recover my independence and find myself fully confident that I am ready to look after myself when housing becomes available for me."
